Ejvind Boccolini and Dan Traglia - The Music Den's Teachers Of The Month for March 2014

Announcing The Music Den's Teachers Of The Month for March 2014 - Ejvind Boccolini and Dan Traglia

At The Music Den, we are proud of our teachers and their accomplishments. We want you to know a little about them so we are featuring one (or in this case) two teachers this month. Congratulations to Ejvind Boccolini and Dan Traglia, our March 2014 featured "Teachers of the Month".

We are fortunate to have not one but two new drum instructors added to our excellent list of skilled musicians here at The Music Den

Ejvind Boccolini comes to us from Hacketstown, NJ. He has been teaching drums for more than 11 years. He began drumming when he was 10 years old and later studied with Glenn Davis of Harmony, NJ. Dan has performed throughout the tri-state area and produced several recordings from his projects including: "Curses and Blessings" from the band, Screwtapb's Roast, "Scurry Toward Ascensin", and "Different Locale" from the band Scurry Toward Ascension. He is also part of a group called Stone Cold Fever, who opened for the Misfits and Kix 2013 at Reverb in Reading, PA

Ejvind is a supportive and caring teacher who spends time understanding each individual student need. He tailors the lessons to those needs while ensuing the student is growing in compositional skills, sight-reading, and rhythm techniques. To meet Ejvind Boccolini, please stop by the store on Tuesdays from 4-7 PM, or call for an appointment. Welcome Ejvind

Dan Traglia comes with a plethora of "jazz drumming" as well as "on the road" and "in studio" experience to share with his students. With a background in jazz drumming, Dan has studied with many well-known artists such as Paul Meyers, Chico Mendoza, Cecil Bridgewater, Bill Mobley, John Mosca, Rich DeRosa and Bill Goodwin, all with whom he has crafted his excellent skills over the past 12 years. A graduate of William Paterson University in 2011, Dan freelanced his skills touring around the country and had many accomplishments, such as opening for "The Jonas Brothers" as well as making appearances on major television networks such as E!, E! Latino, and Fox 5's Good Day New York

Thank you Dan for gracing our halls with your outstanding talent and skills to share with your students. To meet Dan Traglia and discuss lessons, stop by on Sundays between 12-3 pm.

Mickey Who - Comedy Showcase and Open Mic Night
Saturday March 1st, 2014, at 8:00PM - Admission: $10.00

Mickey Who? = Mickey Loesch = Comedy Guru

Mickey has revolutionized comedy utilizing snappy repartee from sidekicks with an innovative multi-microphone format. A trampoline and a rubber chicken named Lloyd are also incorporated into the frenzy!!
Mickey has entertained audiences by hosting and producing his own stand-up comedy showcase including a "Pro Staff" of regular performers in a concert style setting... Performed and produced hundreds of shows ... keeping track not unlike that of McDonalds. The shows feature and are built around Mickey's own stand-up routine!

Mickey's style can be mellow to maniacal as his refreshing funny "off-kilter" and especially clean comedy style leaves a lasting impression on any audience... Not unlike that of a branding iron.

Mickey's Live show production experience also gives him a vast understanding of promotion, advertising, sales, target marketing and public relations...

Mickey simply gives his audience what they want... So they keep coming back for more!

About the Artist:

Mickey Loesch is an actor and a comedian. This means if he says something and its not funny, then he's acting. Mickey is also the creator and host of the long-running open mike stand-up comedy showcase. The- comedy-show-of-record, that is. Mickey went to school in Normal , Illinois, and is currently leading an abnormal lifestyle.

Rio Clemente presents the ImpresaRio Series Jazz Concert and Benefit - Sunday February 9th 2014

Rio Clemente presents the ImpresaRio Series Jazz Concert and Benefit Featuring Special Guests

Sunday, February 9th 2014
Ticket Price: $30.00
Wine and Cheese Hour 6:00PM
Performance 7:00PM

This special concert will feature renowned Jazz Pianist Rio Clemente, "The Bishop Of Jazz" and other Special Guests. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Marine Corps League of NJ.

Artist Information:

Rio Clemente "The Bishop of Jazz" - Master Jazz Pianist Anyone who has listened to Rio Clemente play piano, comes away in awe. This master pianist mixes a strong classical background with rich knowledge of jazz history, then adds an amazing sense of creativity and interpretation. The result is music that is different from others, and nearly always produces a standing ovation and cries for “more.” When reviewers stumble for words to describe his work, it’s because words fail to convey the rich depth of character, nimble facility of play and ease with which his music is crafted and performed. The man brings something very special and decidedly unequaled to the piano.
