The Music Den Celebrates 30 Years of Musical Instrument Sales in New Jersey with 3-Day Sale

The Music Den announces 3 day sale and outdoor party in celebration of 30 years of providing musical instrument sales and rentals in the New Jersey area.

(PRWEB) July 02, 2014

The Music Den will be celebrating its 30th year in the musical instrument retail industry July 11th-13th, 2014. The celebration will begin with a 3-day musical instrument sale that Friday, with discounts of up to 30% off current prices, and will culminate in a “Bands, Beer, and Bargains” outdoor tent party on Sunday, July 13th at their Randolph location. The party will feature bands playing from 12-5pm, starting with popular local rock band, “Boys Night Out.”

But the festivities won’t end there. “This is just the kickoff. You’re going to see us celebrating our 30th Anniversary all year long,” said Brian Lee, sales manager for The Music Den in Randolph, New Jersey.

In addition to the sale, The Music Den will also be releasing a new version of its website that week, completely redesigned in a responsive format so that it can be used on a mobile device. The new website will be offering a special free shipping deal for all orders over $30.

Brothers Tom and Jerry Scognamiglio, along with their father, Guy, opened their first music store in a little strip mall in Landing, New Jersey in July, 1984. Over time, The Music Den grew to include a store in Parsippany, mall stores in Ledgewood and Kinnelon, and a warehouse facility in Wharton.

The Music Den now has just two locations, in Butler and Randolph, New Jersey. The Randolph location is its flagship facility, and boasts two floors of musical instruments and equipment, 13 private lesson studios, repairs department, full warehouse and their 120-seat auditorium, the Randolph Performing Arts Center. Unveiled in 2010, the Randolph Performing Arts Center has had a huge impact on the community, providing a much needed home for student recitals, concerts, clinics, band camps and plays.

The Music Den also has a thriving online presence. In 2002, they built their first website at themusicden.com and in 2006 branched out into ecommerce, online rentals and payments. The Music Den has particularly made an impact on auction giant eBay, where they currently have over 17,000 feedback responses.

The Music Den is also one of only four music retailers in the country that have a GSA schedule contract which allow them to directly and efficiently sell to the federal government and federal customers wishing to purchase music related goods.

The Music Den is a true full line musical instrument store. More that just guitars, bass, and drums, The Music Den sells pianos, rents and repairs band and orchestra instruments, offers private and group musical instrument lessons, and offers concerts and clinics. They also have a contracting division that does PA installations for churches, schools, gyms, venues, concert halls, and stadiums.
